October 5: Crock Pot Challenge!
Tuesday, October 5 is going to be a crock pot challenge! Find a recipe, ANY recipe that will go well in a crock pot... something you can throw together in the morning and cook all day while you're at work... share the recipe here. :) It's that easy!
TIP!
If you have something that requires a lot of chopping and don't think you'll have time in the morning, do all the prep work the night before and put everything in the fridge. In the morning, just dump it all into the pot!

PORK ROAST AND VEGGIES
ReplyDeleteit will consist of a pork butt roast, with lots of fresh veggies chopped up, in water, and then the oils and flavors of all the meat and veggies added, with some spices, like salt and pepper and garlic.
CHICKEN TACO SOUP
ReplyDeleteChicken breasts (cut into small pieces)
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans black beans
2 small cans mexicorn
garlic (minced
onion (diced)
tortillas torn into small pieces
water
Mexican seasonings.
Toss it all in (do not drain cans), add additional water as needed, cook on low all day. Season to taste! :) EASY AS PIE! You can use a taco seasoning packet, or have better sodium-control and just add Mexican seasonings yourself. This is a "make it up as you go along" recipe!
Top with shredded cheese and sour cream!
I'm doing a Cheesy Chicken
ReplyDeleteChicken Breasts
Salt/Pepper to taste
